First published in August 2020 and updated for 2021, The Bismarck-Mandan Encyclopedia is the embodiment of the historic database that I’ve been producing on BisManCafe.com since 2007. The Bismarck-Mandan Encyclopedia contains detailed definitions and pictures on more than 300 terms: the people, places, events, and things that have shaped Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota from past to present in an easy alphabetic arrangement.
I created all aspects of the book, including the content (excluding historical pictures), graphic design, and layout.
It was the first of two books relating to Bismarck history.
