WISHEK, N.D. – A Wishek woman has filed a lawsuit against the Wishek School Board and School District.
The lawsuit filed Monday by Kathryn Pinke says the Wishek School Board voted unanimously in November to ban her from entering Wishek Public Schools without prior approval from the superintendent.
Pinke claims this was in retaliation to complaints she made against the school district.
In the suit, Pinke says she had complaints after she felt the school district and board mishandled an incident where a child brought a gun to school.
