After creating a functional mockup website, I established a project plan and spent the next five months leading all efforts in coordinating with suitable vendors to fully develop the new site. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">After its December 2011 launch, I assumed the role of\u00a0directing\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">all website and social media efforts, including training, digital ad trafficking, maintenance, support, and general administration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Goals<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve visitor experience and introduce new features to KXNet.com.<\/li>\n<li>Better integrate social networking and mobile with KXNet desktop platform.<\/li>\n<li>Remove under-utilized and depreciated website sections.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize and improve digital revenue streams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Outcomes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Received the NDBA Teddy Award, Eric Sevareid \u201cAward of Merit\u201d, and an Upper Midwest Emmy Award in 2012.<\/li>\n<li>Increased KXNet.com unique visitor traffic by 38.83% in 2012, with continued increases thereafter.<\/li>\n<li>Launched new mobile apps for news and weather<\/li>\n<li>Launched Twitter account and improved Facebook Likes by 83%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Website Design Samples\" href=\"http:\/\/hoffmancreations.com\/resume\/home#Websites\"><strong>Click here<\/strong><\/a> to read more about my website background.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Achievements\" href=\"http:\/\/hoffmancreations.com\/resume\/achievements\">&lt;&lt; Back to Achievements<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introduction In 2011, I took the lead role in planning, designing, and implementing the new KXNet.com &#8211; North Dakota&#8217;s top-ranked news website.
