New Town man pleads guilty to raping a minor

A New Town man will be sentenced next week after pleading guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl.
Court documents say 26-year-old Nathan Yellow Lodge drank alcohol with the minor last year before engaging in sexual intercourse with the child.
The plea agreement says Yellow Lodge pleaded guilty to the sexual abuse of a minor count. The maximum penalty for the charge is 15 years imprisonment with a $250,000 fine and a lifetime of supervised release.
Documents say the state will recommend prison time applicable with the guideline range, a five-year supervised release and the dismissal of count one, which is sexual abuse.
His sentencing hearing will be in Bismarck on Monday at 9 a.m.
