BISMARCK, N.D. – Some use this time of year to focus on faith, some on gift giving. At the Bismarck Art and Galleries Association you can find a little bit of both.
BAGA will begin hosting the Member Artist Holiday Show on Dec. 4, where several of their artists will have their work on display for purchase, but not all pieces in the show will be holiday themed.
As of Friday, and until a few days before the holiday show, Sam Coleman’s artwork will be featured as he chose to express the religious first 7 days God created earth.
Forty-five different artists will be contributing for the upcoming event, all with a unique story to tell.
“There’s such a huge variety of different things representing a specific time of year or what we celebrate when it comes to the holidays,” said Coleman.
BAGA puts on this show right before the holidays for those looking for things to do or needing inspiration for gift giving.
“The pieces I’m going to be putting in there are items that I’ve selected out that I think people will look at and appreciate as far as like gift giving and things like that because it does begin to being a good time of year for people looking for art to give as gifts,” said visual artist, Anthony Nelson.

Every member will be using a different medium and have at least two pieces up for display.
At least 85 different pieces will be available to view or purchase and this exhibit will be open to the public until the Dec. 21.
