Description
Keeping our equipment fleet running and maintained properly to maximize production. This person will need to have a Safety first approach to daily job task activities. They must have strong troubleshooting ability and be able to perform maintenance and repairs to company vehicles and equipment. Strong leadership skills will also be required to lead our maintenance team. The daily use of computer systems a must, email, and spreadsheets to track and manage time and materials for repairs will be an essential daily task.
Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED
– Valid Driver’s License, with a Class A CDL strongly preferred
– Acceptable MVR
– Diesel mechanic experience
– Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
– Willing to work late evenings and weekends
– Advanced computer skills
Duties
An individual in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions.
– Repair work and using diagnostic software programs to troubleshoot company trucks, vehicles and equipment
– Operate lifting devices
– Lead and delegate to the maintenance team
– Manage maintenance team time and materials
– Fill out shop repair orders daily
– Report information accurately on all reports
– Clean work areas
– Perform other duties as assigned
